11th February 2008
OK. Someone note this time down:
11th
February 2008 at approx 11 a.m.
That was the time that I - Malcolm Trevena a thirty-four year
old, university
graduate; volunteer veteran to places such as
Ghana,
Uganda and
Philippines; former IT executive with such cool companies as
Enabling Technologies; winner of National Innovation Awards;
in-patient at the dollar-draining but sanity-inducing
Ashburn
Psychiatric Hospital; am now - officially - debt free.
Evil forces like
this and this
have kept me down, but I have worked hard and fought my way out
of debt. I don't own a cent and I don't owe a cent.
Woot.
Would I want to change this? Would I swap my
experiences over the last couple of years for a house in the
suburbs, two-and-a-half kids, and a well paying job?
Nope.
Over the next eight months or so I will be saving all my
pennies so that I can fund a two-year stay in the Philippines.
I can't wait!
