Some days I have hope for Africa.

Some days I think that maybe, just maybe we can get on top of the HIV problem.

Some days I think people will first be told, and then listen to the ABC message (Abstinence, Be Faithful, Condom Use).

Some days I think we can get ARV medication and proper medical care for people like Paska in Kitgum.

And then some days I read stories like the following, and feel like giving up:

The head of the Catholic Church in Mozambique has told the BBC he believes some European-made condoms are infected with the HIV virus deliberately.

Maputo Archbishop Francisco Chimoio claimed some anti-retroviral drugs were also infected "in order to finish quickly the African people".
